Design Elements
Techniques and Trends

It’s all about Morphism….
There are some new design trends in 2021…Glassmorphism and Neumorphism.
Some of the older design techniques still remain popular like Parallax Scrolling and Video Backgrounds for cover sections.
Glassmorphism
Glassmorphism is a unified name for the popular Frosted Glass aesthetic.
The effect is based on background blur with transparency, and uses stacked layers to show the depth and context of the interface.
Neumorphism
Neumorphic elements sit right on top of the background surface and pretend to extrude from the background. They are usually a raised shape made from the very similar material as the background. When we look at it from the side we see that it doesn’t “float”.
